Emergency First Response

Learn how to be prepared to “Save a Life in Paradise” and come to Fish & Ships Divers for your First Aid and CPR training with the Emergency First Response (EFR) course.  EFR is an international First Aid, CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training program offered regularly by a team of qualified EFR Instructors at Fish & Ships Divers in Koh Phangan, Thailand.

Many divers take the EFR course to meet the prerequisites for the PADI Rescue Diver course or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster.  Yet, most people have found First Aid and CPR skills are important in every day life.  These people have taken a significant step in emergency preparedness.

Course Schedule

Day 1 (8am – 3pm)

– Shop: Check-in at front counter
– Classroom: Course Overview and skill development
– Classroom: Scenario practice and written exam
– Certification issued upon successful completion of course

Rescue Diver Course

Learn the skills that will make you a more confident and competent diver in the PADI Rescue Diver course offered at Fish & Ships Divers in Koh Phangan, Thailand.  The course content covers accident prevention, problem recognition, and emergency management with hands-on training.  Many students find this course to be both challenging and fun and often comment it’s the best course in their dive training.

DAY 2 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
– Classroom: Briefing with instructor
– Shore: Rescue diver exercises
– Classroom: Log dives

DAY 3 (8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
– Classroom: Academic session
– Shore or Boat: Rescue diver exercises
– Classroom: Log dives

Get back, wash the equipment and then complete the paperwork!

You are now a fully qualified PADI Rescue Diver!
